BSE Smallcap Company DCM Shriram Industries has announced interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25. The company gave this information in regulatory filing on 28 March. This time the company has decided to give a dividend of ₹ 2 per equity share, which is 100% dividend. This decision was taken at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company and it was informed that the dividend would be paid within the next 30 days.

Record date will be held on 4 April

DCM Shriram Industries has set a record date for interim dividend on 4 April 2025 (Friday). This means that investors who will keep the company shares in their demat account till this date, they will be eligible for this dividend.

Dividend payment deadline

The company has also announced that the dividend will be paid within the next 30 days from March 28. This means that investors may receive dividends in their account by the end of April. The company has assured to complete this process rapidly.

History of dividend in previous years

DCM Shriram Industries has been giving dividend to its investors from time to time. Last year, on 10 April 2024, the company also gave an interim dividend of ₹ 2 per share. Earlier, on 22 February 2023, ₹ 1 per share and 25 July 2022 was declared a final dividend of ₹ 0.50 per share. On 23 February 2022, the company gave an interim dividend of ₹ 1 per share.

Impact on share price

Despite the announcement of dividend, the company’s shares saw a slight decline. Till the market closure on March 28, DCM Sriram Industries shares were trading at ₹ 159.40, which is a decline of 0.25%. However, investors hope that the stock may soon be stable after the declaration of dividend.
