The Finance Ministry on Tuesday notified the last date for filing announcements under Vishwas Yojana, 2024 with direct tax dispute. The purpose of this scheme is to resolve disputes by long pending. The scheme was announced in Budget 2024 and was in force from 1 October last year.

However, the government did not mention the deadline of the scheme. In this scheme, the taxpayer has to make a complete payment of the disputed amount to resolve the demand and resolve the demand and waive interest and punishment. Taxpayers who want to take advantage of this scheme will inevitably have to announce by April 30, 2025.

So far no indication has been given to carry forward the scheme. Chetan Daga, a partner of Advanced Consulting, said, “The plan is attractive to those whose appeals are pending.”
