CPRL’s big announcement, 245 to 600 McDonald’s restaurant

Master Franchisor Connaught Plaza Restaurant Private Limited (CPRL) for North and Eastern regions in India has planned to invest up to Rs 1,280.7 crore in the next three to four years for network expansion.

MMG Group and CPRL Vice Chairman Anant Aggarwal said that the company plans to increase the number of stores from the current 245 to 300 by the end of this year and then doubled it in the next 3-4 years. Apart from this, CPRL is also expanding McCafe, which is McDonald’s cafe brand. It currently has 125 outlets and by the end of this year its number will increase to 200.

Aggarwal said that there are also plans to take advantage of existing opportunities in Tier-3 and smaller towns with small-forming stores. We have very aggressive plans for growth. I think the possibilities and opportunities are very big. So by this year we should have more than 300 stores and we are planning to increase this number more than double in the next three to four years. The number of stores should be between 500 and 600 by 2030.
