Tata Motors Group’s global wholesale sales rolled 3 percent – Tata Motors Groups Global Wholesale Sales Fall 3 Percent

The Tata Motors Group recorded a 3 percent decline in global wholesale sales during the fourth quarter of FY 25. His total sales were 3,66,177 vehicles. It also includes the sale data of its luxury branch Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). According to the company’s statement released on Tuesday, this decline has come down due to recession in both commercial and passenger vehicles.

Tata Motors had a wholesale sales of commercial vehicles during the fourth quarter of FY25, including the sale figures of Tata Devu (full -owned South Korean subsidiary). This wholesale sales of commercial vehicles declined by 3 percent compared to the same period last year. Also wholesale sales of passenger vehicles, including electric vehicles, fell 6 percent to 1,46,999 globally compared to last year.

However, Jaguar Land Rover introduced a separate picture and sold 1,11,413 vehicles with a slight increase of 1 percent in global wholesale sales during the fourth quarter of FY 25. In JLR itself, Land Rover performed vigorously with a wholesale sales of 1,04,343, while Jaguar’s wholesale sales during the quarter were 7,070.

These data of JLR do not include the number of CJLRs which is a joint venture between JLR and China’s cherry automobiles. However, the company’s retail selling performance has presented a different picture. Retail sales declined by 5.1 percent to 1,08,232 during the fourth quarter despite a slight rise in wholesale sales.

JLR’s wholesale sales in North America saw a significant increase of 14.4 percent during the fourth quarter and China’s wholesale sales fell by 29.4 percent, Europe declined by 10.9 percent and Britain remained stable at 0.8 percent.
