A daily transaction increased to 127.5 lakh in April, which was 122.3 lakh in March and 137.1 crore in February. It has also increased to Rs 227 crore per day on the basis of price, which was Rs 219 crore per day in March. The transaction from the Aadhaar infined payment system (AEPS) has come down by 16 percent to 9.5 crores, which was 1.13 crore a month ago and 9.4 crores in February. It declined by 13 percent to Rs 26,618 crore in April, which was Rs 30,539 crore in March and Rs 24,410 crore in February. The daily transaction was 31.8 lakhs, which was 36.5 lakhs in March. If compared to the same period last year, AEPS transactions have increased by 2 percent and 6 percent according to the price.
