Uber India Systems Private Limited, a company in Rideshairing, Taxi Cab and Transport Network sector, has recorded a revenue of Rs 3,860 crore during the financial year 2023-24 and has increased by 41 percent since last financial year. Business intelligence platform Tofler has given this information. The company also recorded a net loss of Rs 89 crore during this financial year. It has decreased by 71 percent from the last financial year.

The company, which competed with Ola and Rapido, recorded a total expenditure of Rs 3,977 crore during the financial year under review. This expenditure reflects the expenses incurred by the company to provide employee benefits other than the original salary, which includes health insurance, retirement plans, etc. Uber India’s annual data report – According to How India Ubord, Uber’s trips in India last year stood at 9.2 billion kilometers.

Uber India and South Asia President Prabhjit Singh recently said that India is one of the biggest markets in terms of business and it is growing at a high speed. He described it as ‘incredibly important market’ that provides several decades of opportunities to the ride—hiling platform.
